Today, we sopke about chapters 1 and 2 in 1984, and highlighted the physical appearances of a few characters (we spoke about Winston Smith, Emmanuel Goldstein, Mrs. Parsons and her children). Don't forget about the dark haired girl and O'Brien, as well as Big Brother. We identified the four ministries and their purposes and spoke about the meanings behind the slogans.
